London’s “Poobala Ragangal,” the spectacular cultural show featuring unique Tamil artistic talents from the diaspora, returns for its 10th edition. This time, it is proudly sponsored by Subara and presented by the Kamparmalai Vidyalayam – Kommantharai Alumni Association – United Kingdom.
Studded with star performers and rising talents, the event showcases the artistic prowess of Eelam Tamil artists excelling in music, dance, and other forms of performing arts. It is also an evening of celebration where the association has the opportunity to interact with its supporters and well-wishers. Come along and be entertained!
Alumini Association
Kamparmalai Vidyalayam is a renowned school located in Kommantharai, a picturesque village in the northern district of Jaffna, Sri Lanka. The UK alumni association for the school was established in 1997 by former students residing in the United Kingdom.
Over the years, the association has been actively involved in various projects aimed at the welfare and betterment of the school. “Poobala Ragangal” is a unique event that exemplifies the unity, solidarity, and strength of the members of the association.

Kamparmalai Vidyalayam – Kommantharai, Alumni Association – United Kingdom has been organizing ‘London Poobala Raagangal’, the annual cultural concert featuring a number of British Tamil talents. The tenth editon was held in 2018 at Harrow Arts Centre. Reflecting Britain’s multiculturalism, the event showcases various forms of performing arts rooted in Sri Lankan Tamil tradition.
